To connect from my laptop to my MacMini I'm thinking of using TeamViewer and to connect with my phone I'll probably have to use a Bluetooth remote control app. While in bed I'd like to connect to it with my phone and control it through there, it shouldn't be too difficult to control since at that point I would just have to press play on the video I want to see.
